§1.3 | Tax Strategy & Stewardship

The code rewards those who plan. Most people just wait till the battle has started.

The strategies used by the most sophisticated investors in America are available at your income level. We help you plan for tax events throughout the whole year and are available quickly to work through them with you.

§1.4 | Proactive tax strategy

Don’t wait until April. Revo works year-round to find, plan, and execute proactive tax strategies that keep more money in your pocket, every deduction documented, every position defensible, every dollar accounted for.

Tax Planning

Year-round strategy. Monthly, quarterly, or annually. We analyze your full picture and build a plan before the tax events happen.

Tax planning is what most people skip and why most people overpay.

Throughout the year, we sit down with you to look at what you're investing in, what you're building, and what's changing. We make a plan for how to buy, sell, and document everything in the most tax-advantaged way possible.

Whether you need us monthly, quarterly, or once a year, we're building your strategy before April, not during it.

When a tax event comes up during the year, you have a team that responds. You receive proactive education and podcast content sent directly to you.

This isn't a service you wait on. It's a relationship that works with you all year long.

Preparation is what most people think of when they think taxes but at Revo, it's the final step in a year's worth of work.

We prepare your documents, file your return, and build a legal defense for every position taken throughout the year. Every figure is supported, every strategy is reflected, and every deduction is documented as if the IRS is watching, because they might be.

Flat fee. No surprises.

By far the absolute best tax and tax planning team out there. I’ve been using them for 3 years now and they have maximized my returns in every single way and navigated through some very complex and ever changing business scenarios. They are great communicators, super friendly, experts at understanding the tax code, and the absolute best at what they do. I recommend them to everyone I know.

A few years ago I was looking for a new tax strategy/prep firm and interviewed several well recommended companies.  None of those discussions got past the surface level.  When I met Mike and Kevin, they asked me all about my business and even offered to review a draft company agreement and PPM for one of our projects.  The redline comments they provided were very helpful and they even joined a conference call with our attorney to explain the why behind the edits.  Since then Pine & Company does all my tax work including my personal returns and I have been able to get K1s to my investor early each year.

We are grateful to work with specialists that help ensure we maximize the value of tax planning while ensuring we operate well within defensible guidelines of tax laws.

We have been very pleased with the professionalism, counsel and execution of the entire team.  From tax consultation through preparation and filing, we appreciate the attention to detail and thorough approach through the entire process.  From a strategy and planning perspective - we tend to overthink things, carefully considering all the nunaces.

We make the best decisions once we understand the implications of every variable.  Your team has an innate ability with sense-making, essentially translating complex topics and a myriad of questions in simple and easy-to-understand language.  When it comes to preparation, we love the detailed project-management and follow up during document gathering - it truly helps to keep us on track.

We’re not for everyone. And that’s by design.

Revo works with a select group of high-income earners who are serious about keeping more of what they earn. If that’s you, we should talk.

You earn $500K+ or have significant business or investment income.

You’re tired of surprises at tax time.

You want a proactive team, not a reactive accountant.

You understand quality advisory has a cost and you’re ready to invest.

You are a W-2 employee, business owner or investor.

Let’s find your hidden money.

§5.1 | Our Vision

See the why behind Revo.

We built Revo on a simple belief: If you’re paying more than you legally have to, something is broken.

When we started this firm, we’d both spent years inside systems that rewarded playing it safe, filing what’s obvious, avoiding anything that might raise an eyebrow, and sending clients a bill. We knew there was a better way.

Most tax professionals are stuck inside the box the IRS creates to collect more money — purely for lack of education

So we built a team we wish we had.

Today, Revo is more than a tax firm. It’s a full ecosystem. Strategy, bookkeeping, and tax-advantaged investments, all coordinated around one goal: keeping more of what you’ve earned. We call you first. We answer the phone. And we treat your money like it’s ours, because in many cases, it is. We often invest alongside our clients in every fund we offer.

Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re reading this for the first time, welcome. We’re just getting started.

§5.2 | Our Team

Meet the people behind your tax strategy.

Revo’s team includes CPAs, tax strategists, and operations professionals—all committed to finding what’s in the code and putting it to work for you.

Kevin Schneider

Managing Partner

As Managing Partner of Revo and an ardent CPA, Kevin is a direct reflection of the same ideals that differentiate his firm from 99% of others in the tax industry. His war cry — “Pay too much...you lose too much.”

Driven (relentlessly) in maximizing wealth by minimizing taxes, Kevin maintains a consistent attack in aligning predetermined financial goals with hidden tax opportunities, combined with ongoing problem-solving around complex tax situations, unorthodox tax strategies and proactive planning. It’s a rare and powerful mix. With his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting/Finance from Texas Christian University, Kevin launched his career in early 2006. In the last few decades, he has convinced hundreds of high-profile clients to stand up, cut against the grain, and fight for what is already rightfully theirs.

As Revo’s Managing Partner, Kevin is responsible for overseeing a growing team of tax professionals. He ensures that each client receives the same high-quality service while also getting the personalized attention they deserve.

Kevin’s passion for finance goes well beyond his office hours. Teaching budgeting and biblical financial principles, he also coaches softball (baseball is his other love), and often finds himself embroiled in some rather heated PacMan duels with his family.

Mike Pine

Founding Partner

As Founding Partner of Revo, Mike is known for maintaining a “slightly- over the-top devotion” to the ever-changing tax law. What some might find as a bizarre fascination with taxes, actually stems from his driving determination to uncover unique ways in which to prevent himself and others from having to pay more taxes than they are legally obligated to...then use it to build substantial wealth. In fact, Mike doesn’t refer to himself as a CPA, rather, he prefers R.T.S. - Radical Tax Strategist.

Having earned his Bachelor’s in Business and Masters in Professional Accountancy from Montana State University, Mike began his career with a “Big Four” firm where he quickly learned there was a better way than most people understood. Even those at the time who were his seniors, some knew but simply didn’t care to rock the boat and preferred to take a cleaner, easier route — not Mike. Any path in which a person ends up paying far more than they should... was a path to utter poverty in his way of thinking. While ignorance may indeed be bliss, or quiet compliance perhaps easier, real wealth (and happiness) could be better achieved by keeping more of one’s hard-earned money where it belongs.

Today, Mike is a respected authority and celebrated keynote speaker on tax strategies that revolutionize the way taxpayers are able to keep more of what is rightfully theirs. He advises taxpayers on how to legally pay much less in taxes whether they earn their income through business structures, passive income or a normal W-2 job. Additionally, he advises individuals, partnerships, and corporations in the areas of real estate, technology, start-ups, venture capital, private equity and investments. Co-Host of the Hidden Money Podcast, he is also a contributor on the book, The Tax Cure: Change the Facts of Your Financial Life to Create True Wealth & Peace of Mind and a co-author of Becoming Your Best Self.

Luz Tellado

Senior Tax Associate

Luz holds a BBA in Accounting from Turabo University in Puerto Rico, where she launched her accounting career in 2007. After gaining experience at a medium-sized firm in Puerto Rico, she relocated to Texas to grow with Revo — bringing bilingual capability and a strong foundation in tax and accounting.
