We know that every firm talks about “work-life balance” but no one really means it.
You’ve been burned when other employers have broken this promise. We’re asking you to trust us. We really do care about your life outside of work.
Let’s use tax season as an example. Most firms will say you need to work 55–60 hours, but they'll actually require 80–90. Or if you only work 55, they withhold bonuses or promotions.
There’s no question we work hard at Revo during tax season, but here’s what that looked like this year:
✓ Everyone was expected to work 55 hours a week.
✓ Bonus days off (paid, but not part of your PTO allotment) were given to the entire company after tax season.
✓ People who chose to work more than 55 hours made a significant amount of money. But working that many hours was their choice.
